Overview
This isn’t just a weekend in Bir — it’s a trek into two of Kangra’s best-kept secret valleys. After an overnight journey from Delhi, wake up in Bir and drive 40 km up past the world-famous Billing take-off site to Rajgundha, a quiet village ringed by the Dhauladhar range. End the day around a campfire under a star-filled sky.
Day two is the trek — 6 km through pine forest, over wooden bridges and stream crossings, to Palachak, an untouched meadow beside a calm river. Pitch camp by the water, explore the valley floor and catch the sunset with the group.
On your last day, watch the sunrise over Palachak, hike back down past open meadows and shepherd huts, and drive back to Bir through Billing. Spend the afternoon in Bir’s cafés, markets and Tibetan colony before the overnight journey home, reaching Delhi early the next morning.
